Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 11, 2025
Your privacy is not just a policy for us; it's the entire purpose of this product. Our philosophy is simple: **we do not want your data.**
1. The Core Principle: No Data Upload
PrivacyPixel is a 100% client-side tool. This means that all processing, reading, and scrubbing of your photos happens *entirely within your web browser* on your own device.
- Your photos are **never** uploaded to our servers.
- We **never** see or have access to your images.
- All metadata (including GPS, device, and time data) is read and processed locally.
2. Analytics (What We Do Track)
We need to know if people are *using* the site, but we don't need to know *who* you are. We use **GoatCounter** for our analytics, which is a privacy-first platform.
- GoatCounter does **not** use cookies.
- GoatCounter does **not** track any personal information (PII).
- It simply counts anonymous pageviews so we know if the site is working and if people find it useful.
3. Contact Form
If you choose to use our Contact page to send us a message, you will be voluntarily providing your name and email address. This information is used *only* to respond to your inquiry. We use Render Forms (a service by our host, Render) to process this, and we do not sell or share this information with any other third parties.
4. Affiliate Links & Donations
This site is supported by affiliate links (like our VPN recommendation) and donation links ("Buy me a coffee"). If you click one of these links, you will be taken to a third-party website. Their privacy policy will govern your interaction with them. We do not receive any personal data from these partners, only an anonymous commission if you choose to make a purchase.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy in the future. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
